All fitness levels welcome

If you're looking for a friendly group of running mates to help you improve on your personal best time, the weekly 5-kilometre Rhodes parkrun could be for you! Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate — it's up to you.

It is a free, fun weekly 5-kilometre community run through the Concord West/Rhodes area. While there is a group running together, everyone goes at their own pace so it's you against the clock to keep improving your personal best. Walk, jog or run – it's up to you!

The run starts at the Victoria Avenue entrance of Bicentennial Park (near the Egret Pavilion) in Concord West.

The course begins with a loop around the playground before heading north past Rhodes shopping centre along a shared walk/cycle path. The course continues along the waterfront for approximately 2 kilometres before turning around and returning along the same route.

It's free to join the Rhodes Parkrun, but please register before your first run with the group.

Everyone is running for their own enjoyment so please feel free to join in — whatever your pace!

Parkrun has been made possible by the City of Canada Bay and is organised by volunteers. If you would like to help out, email rhodes@parkrun.com for more information.
